It will come as no surprise to
sellers who have property on the market, but for the
rest of you who are interested in what is happening…
The inventory of properties for sale is swollen,
making it a very challenging market for sellers.
This gives buyers a vast array of choices to
consider when choosing a property.
The expanded inventory is causing sellers to
competitively position their properties in the
marketplace by reducing prices or making improvements to
their properties.
All that said, this is a great time to buy! This is especially true for first time homebuyers, or for second homeowners who do not need to sell a property in order to buy. There is an old saying, “They don’t ring a bell at the bottom, and they don’t ring a bell at the top." Don’t sit back and wait, take advantage of this softened market.
