Meet The Team
Betty McEnaney, Owner
Licensed Vermont Real Estate Broker, REALTORŪ, CRS, SRES, e-PRO, GRI
The service end of the real estate business is what makes Betty tick and so does the Goodwill Project. Being able to help others is something that is very, very important to her. Being in the business 29 years has been (and continues to be) exciting for Betty. Betty is thrilled when a buyer takes the keys to their first home or when she sees someone’s eyes light up when they fall in love with a house. She loves working with seniors and on country properties…especially old houses.
When not at the office, Betty is most likely at home. She and her husband Bruce enjoy life at the end a town gravel road. At the moment, they are building a green, highly efficient, new house that will look old when it is done. Sharing what they have learned is something they look forward to being able to do.
Betty came to Vermont is 1973 for a summer job, and never left! She and Bruce have two grown boys, a daughter-in-law, and three grand-dogs, who are living in Shaftsbury, Vermont and on Cape Cod. Vermont was a wonderful place for them to grow up. Betty enjoys travel, quiet time, working in the yard, knitting socks, reading, and following the Red Sox. She will talk at great length about any of the above, but only when asked!
Betty has served in almost every leadership capacity with the local Crown Point Board of REALTORS as well as serving as President of the Vermont Association of REALTORS in 1998.
To stay on top of the changing industry, Betty attends several education sessions a year and has earned the following designations to better assist her clients and customers.
CRS -Certified Residential Specialist-Training for the residential broker
SRES -Senior Real Estate Specialist-Training for assisting the 50+ client and customer
e-PRO -Certification for on-line professionalism
GRI -Graduate REALTOR Institute-Solid base of information for real estate professionals
Holly Phelps, Operations Manager
Licensed Vermont Real Estate Agent, REALTORŪ

Holly has been with McEnaney & Company since 2003. Originally a right hand assistant to Betty, Holly’s role is now split between the people side of the business, and the management side. Her primary objective is to develop office policies and systems to ensure a consistently excellent experience for our customers. She provides IT support for the office and maintains our website & Virtual Tour linking, and compiles our statistical data for reporting market conditions. Holly keeps her hand in the service side of the business by ensuring that our pending sales stay on track and coordinating our closings. Holly loves aviation, travel, cats and being outdoors.

Cindy Bowen, Administrative/Field Assistant
Cindy
joined McEnaney & Company in September of 2006. What
was intended to be a part time position as Betty’s assistant
immediately blossomed into a full time position, supporting
both Betty and the general office. Out in the field, Cindy
takes Betty’s tour photos and collects data from town
offices for listed properties. In the office, Cindy manages
our print advertising, photo & folder maintenance, broker
mailings, and client mailings. Cindy’s background in the
hotel and restaurant business certainly has contributed to
her ability to handle multi-tasking and her willingness to
help anyone any way she can. When not at the office, Cindy
enjoys spending time with her family (including her new
grandson), gardening, card games, golf, sports and just
being outdoors.
